Excellant, September 22, 2009 by Robert Johnston Visit Date:September 20, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very nice Hotel with good staff, room overlooked the pool but had no balcony which was a little disappointing as all rooms are advertised as suites. Otherwise excellant" |
excellent service., July 5, 2009 by Lisa Lewy Visit Date:July 1, 2009 "Actually we were staying at 4 different hotels during our holiday in Phuket. Hopefully we expected that andaman beach suites would be the best one, but we re a litte bit dissapointed. This hotel is a little bit old and need renovation. The breakfast is average. To my conclusion, this hotel is too expensive and not worth it." |
Fast, flexible and reliable, May 4, 2009 by Leong Peiying Visit Date:May 2, 2009 "Stayed in a superior room on 8th floor. Balcony has a great seaview and sunset view. Room is big and clean with bath robes. The room looks better than in the photos. Staffs are ok,understands and speaks english but could be friendlier to make customers feel more welcome. Hotel is located in the quieter part of patong beach. About 20mins walk to Bangla road. 10 mins to beach. A number of food stalls and mini marts right outside the hotel. The services provided by the hotel is quite expensive compared to outside. You have to pay for wifi in this hotel while many other hotels in Patong provides it free. Look for better deals outside the hotel. Other than this, nothing to pick on." |

January 25, 2009 by Theodorus Derksen Visit Date:January 14, 2009 "We already book our accommodation in Thailand via Sawadee.com for many years and unfortunately it was the first time that something went wrong. We booked a quite expensive suite at the Andaman Beach Suites ( 7 nights)and we asked for a quiet room with sea view, high floor. Indeed we had a room at the 18th floor but we thougt it might be a mistake: windy, noisy (behind the in between door a whole family with crying children), not very clean and worst of all: not isolated against the stormy wind: windows that could not close good and for sea view we had to climb on the bed. Really dissapointing and when we asked for another room (no problem if more expensive) we got the answer that all was full booked. So next morning we looked for another hotel and found it. For only 1000 THB more a splendid and new hotel with big balcony at the seaside, big beds, clean, excellent food and service. When checking out the Andaman suddenly offered us other rooms ( how come ???? ) but that was too late now, we allready checked and paid the new one. Nevertheless staff was very friendly and helpfull and they could understand our questions and early depart." |
Booking service was fantastic, so easy to use and we had no problems with anything., November 18, 2008 by Emma Jane Patterson Visit Date:November 2, 2008 "Brilliant hotel, very centrally located, easy walk to beach and night life.We stayed for five nights, the rooms were lovely and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly." |
Excellent, September 3, 2008 by Hassan Kazim Hassan Moosawi Visit Date:August 15, 2008 "The hotel was good, large rooms & friendly staff. However during my stay their where some renovation work is going on which caused some noise & disturbance between 10 AM to 5 PM. More over one day I was coming with my family from a long safari tour that took around 7 hours from 7 AM to 2 PM & surprised that there is no electricity in the room. When I called the reception they told me that it is a major problem in the area & the electricity will return at 5 PM. I was shocked that they don’t have generators or some other back up to relief the hotel guests. One more thing I have to mention that the A/C compressor is kept in the room balcony...!!! Which really spoiled the fantastic view of the beach … I was wondering how they couldn’t find any other place at this very big hotel.Over all, the hotel is good, clean, near the beach (you have to walk around 10 minutes).Always keep in mind (seeing is believing)." |
the booking is very easy and convenient, August 7, 2008 by Khun Thanatat Nuangyindee Visit Date:July 28, 2008 "we have a great time staying at andaman beach suites. the room have a nice view. the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. " |
No problems at all, August 7, 2008 by Barrie Smith Visit Date:July 21, 2008 "Great all round experience, large room with excellent view over the Andaman sea,the staff were very efficient and friendly and plenty of good choices at the breakfasts" |
July 10, 2008 by MARCHAL Visit Date:June 26, 2008 "For the moment there are construction works inside the hotel and also near by, so the hotel is quite noisy. But after we insisted we were able to change room and it was a little calmer.Patong is a busy area, so tourists are often late night birds. Watch out not to have a room with a communicating door, as your neighbours might do a lot of noise at night. The hotel is otherwise clean and the service is correct." |
June 4, 2008 by Neil Bumpstead Visit Date:April 25, 2008 "Very Good. Service assistance, and help for our tours. Thanks for the experience. I will return" |
Flawless, definately will use it again, April 29, 2008 by Sergey Kontsevich Visit Date:April 16, 2008 "stayed in delux suites, rooms are worn-out, but service nevertheless was great, hotel is currently undergoing a renewal, so probably will return there again" |
VERY GOOD, March 23, 2008 by Johan Alsmark Visit Date:March 9, 2008 "Good service. Bad cleaning on rooms. Very good breakfast!!!. Very noisy by the pool area, causing buliding a house ther.Hopeless to be by the pool on days." |
The booking for the hotel was a dream and worked well. The booking failed for the transfer car that was booked through this service which after a long flight from Sydney was an ordeal. The phone numbers provided do not work outside business hours. Suu did apologise when I contacted the office the next day and arranged for us to have a vehicle back to the airport., November 10, 2008 by Geoffrey Visit Date:September 14, 2007 "My wife and I had a lovely holiday. Our car did not appear at the airport, but the staff guided our purloined car by phone to the wonderful Verandah Lodge. The staff were fabulous and it has a great family feel. It is clean and exceeded our expectations in every way. It is just the tonic after a long trip. I was going to write that the place is dreadful so that we can get a booking whenever we want, BUT that would be totally unfair to this nice small property. The family that run it must take the credit for the friendliness assocated with the property especially when nothing is too much trouble. We will be back as we have never had such a pleasant time in Thailand." |
It worked OK and there were no problems, November 5, 2008 by Geoffrey Visit Date:September 14, 2007 "My last comment related to another property. The Andaman Beach Suites are good and have been used by my family on several occassions. My only complaint is that you will often be told that the proeprty is full and when you get there and are staying elsewhere, and visit it, they tell you it is not. I like the Andaman and my family and I often stay there when In Phuket" |
