The room was pathetic, with the sink being in the Bedroom and a dirty poorly maintained swimming pool. There is a shortage of staff and if you want something you have to walk up to the reception which is on to the corner. Well this is the condition of one of the best rooms they have to offer.Overall a big dissapointment and do not go on the pics shown on the net. Overpriced and pathetic. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

Brilliant as usual - no hassle at all - got a better rate than the hotel could provide directly, November 14, 2009 by Simon Penny Visit Date:November 12, 2009 "Lovely hotel - 3 pools (with pool bar in each). Very clean. Great Service. Only criticism is the rooms are quite modern in design and its a bit inconvenient (no table to work on for example and few available power points). WiFi is patchy in the rooms <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
by Belinda Haden Visit Date:October 31, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very disappointing and way too expensive for the quality. Standard hotel room with basic decor and furniture. Shower a bit rubbish. Comfy bed though and can t fault the location." |
March 25, 2009 by Muralidharan Visit Date:March 22, 2009 "I arrived at the hotel at 10.45 am and i was allowed to check in and the resort looks great , clean and the location was great. Even it was located near Patong Beach and shops just within walking distance, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Strongly recommended hotel for couples as well families" |
Fantastic people for hassle free travel., March 10, 2009 by Rohit Choudhary Visit Date:March 8, 2009 "I stayed in the Superior Room (twin). The hotel is excellent and located right across the beach. Its location is better than most of the other hotels in vicinity with a variety of food available around the hotel. Its got two pools which is excellent given the size of the hotel. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
great as usual, February 24, 2009 by Berggren Visit Date:February 7, 2009 "This was our second time at Banthai.First time, a year ago, we stayed in a pool villa and were pleased with our 2 days´stay there - both room and food. This time we booked a cheaper room option and were disappointed. Very small room, bumpy white walls that made you feel you are in a prison cell. Room was not really clean, and some of the light bulbs in the room were not functioning; even if we informed the staff, the bulbs were not replaced.Breakfast was good though, probably among the best ones we had during the trip (would have been good though with several options of bread).Hotel spa is nice, worth trying for the atmosphere(even if you can get cheaper massages around the corner).Due to room standard and tourist crowds around, Banthai and Phuket was a bit of an anticlimax to our otherwise nice stay in other places around Thailand.." |
Perfect, September 25, 2008 by Phimphrachanh Visit Date:September 1, 2008 "Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Good hotel with 3 swimming pools. The buffet breakfast was fantastic !!! Good Service, friendly staff but check-out was too long. The beach are situated just in front of the hotel with many activities. Jungceylon (area shop) are about 10 minutes walk. This hotel have a good location, small shops, restaurants etc... It is a very touristic area. Maybe try south of phuket next time." |
great, August 29, 2008 by matteo pazzano Visit Date:August 17, 2008 "if you need to stay in patong for any reason, this is one of the best, if best for you is to be beachfront, but you donìt see the beach from nowhere...I guess whomever goes to patong do not go for the sea...Staying in a pool closed between high walls could be cool if you are in any european capital. But what s the deal on seaside? <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
