by Streng Visit Date:April 23, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Due to the short transfer from pier it is very conveniently located, with a wonderful garden und two pools. The direct pool-access rooms are perfect, the very hilly resort requires some mobility but adds a little sportivity to the stay. Food was of good standard, the breakfast oppulent with a big variety. Spa treatments are of high quality with very friendly staff." |

by Marjut Annika Suomi Visit Date:March 17, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The pool access room is fabulous, although there was some mould odour. We once changed the room, but it did not disappear totally, but the second room was definitely stinking less." |
by DEAN Visit Date:March 5, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Lovely hotel with good amenities on beautiful site. Food in restaurant was excellent. Friendly staff. 2 good swimming pools and small private beach. Pool areas need more umbrellas as not enough for number of chairs. Beach would be perfect if kept cleaner. Leaves and debris spoiled it slightly." |
by ชนธัญ วัฒนสุทธิ์ Visit Date:October 24, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Exellent Room and Services. Our room just a little bit far from the lobby but near the pool. We would consider the pool access room next time." |
by clifford parker Visit Date:September 25, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The Crown Lanta,is the best hotel I have stayed at in Thailand (probaly 40 hotels in total).Being green season,Lanta was very quiet. The rates for my ocean private pool villa was very low and the room was brillant, seperatemain bedroom, large bathroom well fitted out.A seperate living area with tv and dvd ,day lounge, coffe table adjoining a small private pool with unbelievable views.Book-in took no more than 5 mins with great staff throughout the resort.Yes it is a quiet hilly spot, but a call to guest services had you picked up from your room and delivered to breakfast/dinner area within minutes.breakfast was your standard Thai hotel breakfast but was fresh and well presented.Dinner in the Peak was totally awesome(western/thai cuisine)The shuttle to town was reliable and we used this service on many occassions. We used hotel shuttle back to Krabi airport (Mr Tong Driver)reasonable price and was given information about all the local areas by driver, was more like a tour.Well done" |
by CDAT Visit Date:May 1, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "This hotel lacked any sort of feeling. The room we stayed in was dirty and poorly maintained. Only a few staff were pleasant - for the most part, they were all just doing their job. We encountered, in the first 6 hours of our stay, numerous situations that shoud not have happened or could have been dealt with differently. We left the hotel after one night of a four night stay, noting that we atempted to provide constructive criticism to management upon our departure only to be labelled as whinging Aussies <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
by Karina Bak Visit Date:February 6, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The cleaning of our rooms could have been better. And several times we vere missing toiletpaper and towels. The staff was very frindly, and it worked very fine with the transport from rooms to reception or restaurant. You should take a look on the wine card, it is very poor wine and the much to expensive. I think more people would stay for lunch and dinner if it wasen t so expensive." |
by Mr Darren M Fox Visit Date:April 27, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "very nice resort in beautiful location staff vey helpful.we had a private pool villa which was great highly recommended for couples if u want to use as a base to explore the island or just sit back and relax" |
by Tim Ulrich Visit Date:January 29, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The hotel is still quite new and has now been rebranded to Crown Lanta , but the old name Lanta Cliff Beach Resort fits better as it is really steep to walk between the different facilities (restaurant, pools, etc.). There is only a small private beach; on the long Klong Dao beach there are no sun beds from the hotel to be used (or any agreement with other hotels). The service is trying to do its best, but the hotel has been very empty (10 guests) while we were there leading to a difficult situation for guests and staff. Overall the hotel is good, but the price we paid (10.000 B / night for ocean view) was too high in comparison to real beach hotels around. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
