The only reason I did not give it a 10 is because they have plumbing issues with their jacuzzi in the chalet suites. It took a long time to fill, it leaked, and the motors were rather loud when it was turned on." |

You definitly need a car or a motorcycle. the beach is quiet but a bit narrow. Accomodations: villas are cute and great value, but chalets are up the hill, so lots of stairs to climb, far from the beach, the swimming pool and the restaurant.chalets are spacy and with a nice overlook on the bay but far less cosy and not convenient at all.The restaurant is ok but nothing incredible and thaï food menu is poor. Accoustic band playing every night american oldies (you better like it or you get upset as we did...).Service is OKThe spa is nice.Clients of this resort seem to be mainly germans and americans.At last, we found Samui quite disapointing with his wild uncontrolled tourism development. It was an absolutely magnificent vacation.
