by Susan Jane Le Roux Visit Date:June 2, 2011 Room: Service: Location: "This was our fourth stay. Peaceful and quiet. Owners and staff very friendly. My daughter fell in love with the few cats there and she was very sad to leave. Owners assisted us with some legal documentation that needed to be scanned and printed which were were very grateful for. Will be staying again. If you want to just relax and have no hussle and bussle. This will be a good place to unwind. The pool is the best ever. Thank you to all staff and owners. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
by Traveller Visit Date:April 13, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "We came just for one night. The hotel was nice and comfortable. However, we have never seen such a bad service. The staff was neither friendly nor helpful. They did not help with the luggages, they did not explain anything about hotel (diner, breakfast time...), no information about taxi (we needed a taxi for the next morning early time, to reach the pier in Maenam)... We have never seen such a surprising way of welcoming customers! So, when we arrived to the dining room (10 minutes after our arrival at the hotel) everything was closed... We tried to call but nobody answered...Fortunately, we met someone outside who arranged transportation for the next morning! But, we did not have any diner and no breakfast the next morning... It is very very strange as Thai service is well-known to be very good! We live in Thailand and it is the first time something like that happened to us...It s a pity as the hotel is good, comfortable and in a peaceful area (not far from the fisherman s village in BoPuht, less than 10 min walk) with a very nice swimming pool... [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

by Jackson Visit Date:January 2, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "A beautiful retreat...the photos on the website dont even do it justice. One of the most beautiful pools ever! We loved every minute of our stay, would go back in a heartbeat!" |
by Susan Jane Le Roux Visit Date:December 23, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Third stay. My request for a bungalow without much stairs was given. Food is really good and reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you do not like creepy crawlies then this is not the place for you, had an incident at the pool with a snake, but this did not put us off. The peace and tranquility made up for everything. Bathrooms in bungaows really need to be upgraded. Beds are comfortable. Will stay again" |
by Robyn GREGORY Visit Date:November 28, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Although basic in accommodation it offered a wonderful escape from the hustle of main stream. The staff were lovely and very helpful.Lamoot the terrier a real charmer. Can highly recommend for rest, peace & quiet despite the very firm bed. Recommend hire a car from airport and life will be very easy. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
by Jing Chen Visit Date:October 8, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "I do like the room with nature design, especially the Japanese style bed zone. However, the room was not so clean as what I expected and I could find the insects and ants on the floor and spider web at the corner. The location is truely not convenient at all. We need to take 10min walk to mainroad and another 10min to bophut beach. The beach is less beautiful than Chaweng. More, the taxi fare is very expensive in Samui(it take 300bhts to Chaweng beach one way). Thus, I won t recommend this hotel unless you d like to stay in a quiet place without any beach life. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
by Micaela Bascand Visit Date:September 18, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "I was utterly disappointed to find out that the Spa part of this resort was closed. This was the sole reason I had booked it and only found out when I wanted to book a massage. The food was excellent and the service was good, but the accommodation was basic and the concrete floors / bathroom made it feel dirty. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

First class service from start to finish., July 6, 2009 by Ian Patrick Jones Visit Date:July 5, 2009 "Excellent small hotel with attentive service and a wonderful Jack Russell named Lamut. She was a super replacement for our dogs that we had to leave at home whilst we were away.Nice, clean and good sized room just by the pool. Great place for relaxing although probably not so good for kids as there is little in the way of children s entertainment. A bit off the beaten track as it is a 15 minute walk to Fisherman s Village or a 200 baht taxi ride.Overall though, we loved it and will go again if we can. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
